Meet Our Doctor
Andrew Phillips, DDS
Dr. Andrew Phillips is a dedicated general dentist serving patients at Opelika Dental Arts. A graduate of UTHealth School of Dentistry at Houston (Class of 2023), Dr. Phillips brings both a strong academic foundation and a genuine passion for patient care to his practice.
Before dental school, Dr. Phillips earned his Bachelor of Science in Education from Baylor University in Waco, Texas — graduating Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA and receiving the prestigious Alpha Chi Medallion. He was recognized on the Dean's Academic Honor List throughout his undergraduate career.
Dr. Phillips has a growing interest in advanced dental technologies and procedures, including CAD/CAM and CEREC same-day restorations, dental implants, surgical extractions with bone grafting and socket preservation, clear aligner therapy, dental lasers, and smile design.
His commitment to dentistry extends beyond the operatory. Dr. Phillips has participated in multiple dental mission trips to San Raymundo, Guatemala through Guatemalan Smiles — first as a dental student in 2022, and most recently in 2025 as a mentor dentist, where his team provided care to nearly 900 children and adults. He is also an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the Christian Medical Dental Association (CMDA).
Dr. Phillips is passionate about combining compassionate care with the latest in dental innovation to help every patient achieve a healthy, confident smile.
